Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week Swim has arrived and once again the models have invaded South Beach. As the first pair of perfectly tanned legs hit the runway, it marked ten years of fashionable patterned nylon and spandex. And because it is the middle of July it is hot,hot, hot and that means you can expect to see the least amount of clothing here.
The fashion shows are as much about the show as they are about the events and parties.You don’t have to be VIP to access some of these events. Escape Miami Style lounge, one of many enter -by-RSVP events, celebrated it’s second year at the National Hotel in South Beach. The fashion beauty retreat returned with a pool-side fashion show by The Orchid Boutique, Dbrie Swimwear, Looksbylo, Rochate and Pretty Beachy. The venue featured complimentary cocktails by WODKA and a beauty lounge fit for everyones inner model. Beauty vendors such as Laura Mercier and The Nail Bar gave complimentary makeovers and manicures.
