One of the cool things about my job is that I get to interview all these upcoming new artist and some of today’s más hot and trending artists-although I’m still wishfully waiting on that email inviting me to a JBalvin Press Junket.

Journalism Lingo: Press Junket-media and interviews of people involved with the making of film, music, theatre such as actors, musicians, directors, etc.

Anyways, Thursday evening I was invited to a surprise concert for one of urban music most prominent artists Myke Towers. If you’re latino and from Miami, chances are you know who he is and have danced your pata sucias away at Wynwood’s most popular bars (Shout out to ‘El Patio’ & ‘The Dirty Rabbit’) and basically any other hipster bar in all of Miami.

I was really excited because I had already interviewed him once, last year, when he debut his single remix “Si Se Da Remix” so I wasn’t nervous. I mean, I still get the hibbie jibbies before any interview, but I wasn’t first-time nervous.

Anyways, I got to experience Myke Towers perform a few of his new songs from his just-released album “Easy Money Baby” and it was pretty cool.

Here’s a small snippet of my interview with him. Wanna watch me “make it rain” with Myke Towers? Watch full interview here.
